Lead Stars From 'Itaewon Class' And 'My Name' Confirmed For New Thriller Drama!

It doesn't require Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) to think logically if logging activities could or not affect the animal population in the forest, because the answer is yes.
Malaysian Association of Zoological Parks and Aquaria (MAZPA) chairman Dr. Kevin Lazarus yesterday spoke out against the recent statement going around that logging does not affect the tiger population, Jan 27.
He strongly believes that logging activities have an impact on the tiger population. With forests no longer kept well especially in Malaysia, forests are unable to fulfill their duty to provide food for the tigers as many other dependent animals are affected by the human excessive logging activities.
"Perhaps if it was 50 to 60 years ago when logging activities were done correctly, there might be a chance for prey to live.
"Back then, there was selective logging done where trees were still able to regrow.
"But now, to say that logging doesn't affect tigers is incorrect," he said at Zoo Taiping and Night Safari yesterday.
A few days ago (Jan 24), Kelantan Forestry director Abdul Khalim Abu Samah made a &lsquo;brave&rsquo; statement that logging activities in the state did not affect its tiger population as he said logging activities are actually "good for the tiger population.&rdquo;
"When there is logging, the area will be overgrown with saplings. So, the area will be attended by animals such as deer that are the tiger's food. It will make it easier for tigers to hunt their prey," said Abdul Khalim.
Abdul Khalim&rsquo;s statement came after a claim that the presence of tigers near Orang Asli villages in Gua Musang were the result of excessive logging.

Dr. Lazarus, who also serves as the director of the Zoo Taiping, stated that a tiger would commonly take&nbsp;between 200 and 300 kilometres of area to roam.
"Their roaming area depends on the thickness of the forest as well as the food source.
"If the forest is thick but lacks a food source, they might need a bigger roaming area and vice versa.
"Four female tigers need at least 70km to 80km to roam and hunt for food," he said.
Many were upset to hear such statement coming out from the person with a position that is supposed to be responsible towards our forestry and tiger population in the country but the opposite.
People demand Abdul Khalim with two choices which are &ndash; to present the public of which "expert research" that he found of claiming logging activities are "good" for the tiger population or to take his words back and make a public apologize regarding his ridiculous statement.

In fact, the sign has been up for quite a while now but only recently surfaced when Instagram account @publicnoticesg had posted it.
Haven&rsquo;t been to Singapore and don&rsquo;t know what the Japanese Cemetery Park is?

The Japanese Cemetery Park is a 30,000sqm cemetery which is along Chuan Hoe Avenue which contains almost 1,000 graves of Japanese civilians in Singapore and soldiers from the early 20th century.
It was built in 1891 by three Japanese brothel-keepers. Initially the burial ground was for the karayuki-san who are Japanese women who served as prostitutes in Singapore back in the past.

As these women do not have families, they had died poor and destitute. During the pre&mdash;wear and WWII days, the bodies and ashes of Japanese civilians and soldiers were brought there.
In 1973, the Singapore government imposed a restriction of burials in 42 cemeteries across the country and the Japanese one was one of them. It was later turned into a memorial park in 1987 and maintained by the Japanese Association of Singapore.
It has also recently turned into an OOTD attraction as they have hidden spots with beautiful Cherry Blossoms around the park.

I don&rsquo;t know what goes on in the minds of those who play Pok&eacute;mon Go but like going to a cemetery is way too much. Plus, it&rsquo;s a place of respect not somewhere to play games. 
Regardless of it, I do wonder how many people still play the game? It&rsquo;s been a while since I heard anyone talking about it too.

'Pokémon Go' Players Requested To Keep-Off Japanese Cemetery Park In Singapore

Social media really does have it&rsquo;s pros and cons. One of the pros is helping us decide or find cafes and restaurants to go and try and who knows, we might just find our next favourite place to go to.
But on the other side of things, the behind the scenes of the food prep can also go viral on media and it can either be good or the bad. Unfortunately for this popular western restaurant, they went viral for the wrong reason.

TikTok user @roziarrba977 had uploaded a video showing the behind the scenes of popular restaurants. It had received backlash and had since removed the video. Unfortunately, what goes on the internet, stays on the internet as Twitter user @antaintiom had managed to save the video and reposted it on her account for everyone to see the reality of things.
The restaurant is HR Steak House located in Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur. A total of 4 videos were uploaded which showed the kitchen SOP and many had a chance to really see the real situation that happens in that steak house.
If you&rsquo;re someone who&rsquo;s easily disgusted, don&rsquo;t say we didn&rsquo;t warn you.
There were incidents such as pouring water from a pail into a wok, cooked chickens laid straight on kitchen tops and stoves with no plates or covers. To add on to the disgust, someone was seen making mash potatoes in a basin on the floor with a glass bottle and dirty plates were washed using stagnant murky water.

Well, I&rsquo;m no stranger to food in Kampung Baru cause one of the best nasi lemak&rsquo;s and sup soto&rsquo;s in town is around there but I would definitely not be going to the restaurant there after seeing this.

Kedudukan Malaysia dalam Indeks Persepsi Rasuah (CPI) dunia bagi tahun 2021 jatuh ke kedudukan 62, berbanding tangga ke 57 pada 2020. Presiden Transparency International Malaysia (Ti-M), Dr Muhammad Mohan berkata, daripada 180 negara, Malaysia mencatatkan skor 48, berbanding skor sebanyak 51 peratus pada tahun sebelumnya.

Tidak seharusnya retorik semata-mata tetapi dilaksanakan dengan cara yang berkesan dan boleh dirasai oleh seluruh masyarakat.
Mazlan juga tidak menafikan bahawa negara ketika ini berada di kedudukan yang sangat membimbangkan, 62 daripada 180 negara, dan skor 48 yang diterima adalah angka terburuk yang pernah dicatat Malaysia sejak sedekad yang lalu.
&ldquo;Persatuan ini menggesa semua pihak daripada parti politik hingga badan bukan kerajaan termasuk semua agensi sama ada dalam sektor kerajaan atau swasta supaya bangkit daripada zon selesa dan penafian serta kembali sedar akan kepentingan Indeks Persepsi Rasuah dalam menjana pengembangan ekonomi dan pelaburan asing di negara ini.&rdquo;
&ldquo;Semua pihak mesti sedar bahawa pelabur asing ingin melabur di negara yang telus, mengurangkan birokrasi dan bebas rasuah untuk menjalankan perniagaan dengan mudah tanpa kos tambahan tersembunyi.&rdquo;
Apakah faktor kehakisan terhadap ketelusan dalam integriti kebanyakan komuniti T-20 menjadi penyumbang besar terhadap kejatuhan Malaysia dalam CPI kini? Bagaimana pula dengan peningkatan jenayah dan kemiskinan dalam negara?
Beliau menambah, ekonomi negara sangat berkait rapat dengan hubungan para pelabur asing.
Pelabur asing sangat berhati-hati dengan kecenderungan rasuah negara kerana mereka sering terikat dengan Akta Amalan Rasuah Asing AS (US FCPA), Akta Rasuah UK dan undang-undang lain yang serupa.
Pada hari Selasa, TI-M turut mendedahkan bahawa Singapura adalah satu-satunya negara Asia yang berjaya mencapai 10 teratas, manakala Malaysia jatuh lima anak lagi berbanding ranking 2020.
Perubahan Kerajaan Yang Tidak Seiring Dasar Dan Matlamat

Presiden TI-M Muhammad Mohan berkata kedudukan Malaysia melantun semula pada 2018 berikutan beberapa pembaharuan dan siasatan berhubung kes rasuah selepas PRU14.
Bagaimanapun, perubahan kerajaan yang berlaku pada 2020 dan satu lagi pada 2021 membawa aliran menurun dalam ranking.
Mohan berkata penurunan itu mungkin disebabkan oleh pembaharuan institusi yang terbantut, dengan empat kerajaan terakhir tidak mempunyai kemahuan politik untuk membentangkan Rang Undang-undang Pembiayaan Politik dan merosotnya Rang Undang-undang Suruhanjaya Bebas Aduan dan Salah Laku Polis (IPCMC).
Sementara itu, Mazlan berkata kerajaan tidak seharusnya menangguhkan pembentangan rang undang-undang mengenai pembiayaan politik, salah laku jawatan awam, pengasingan peranan peguam negara dan pendakwa raya, tempoh jawatan perdana menteri, dan pengisytiharan aset oleh ahli politik dan pegawai kanan kerajaan kepada SPRM.
Selain itu, beliau berkata kerajaan juga perlu melihat pelantikan ahli politik dalam badan kerajaan dan syarikat milik kerajaan, pelantikan ahli politik sebagai duta khas, dan akta lain yang boleh memberi kesan kepada usaha pencegahan rasuah di negara ini.
&ldquo;Kerajaan harus mewujudkan atau memperluaskan kuasa Jawatankuasa Khas Rasuah di peringkat parlimen, yang bukan sahaja boleh memantau semua inisiatif pencegahan rasuah, tetapi juga sebagai badan kawal selia untuk mengukuhkan SPRM,&rdquo; katanya.
&ldquo;Jawatankuasa khas itu sepatutnya terdiri daripada semua pihak tetapi hendaklah dalam kalangan ahli Parlimen atau senator yang mempunyai integriti tinggi dan tidak terlibat dalam mana-mana kes atau siasatan jenayah rasuah.&rdquo;
"Sudah tiba masanya untuk semua inisiatif yang dibangunkan di bawah Pelan Pencegahan Rasuah Nasional dilaksanakan secara sewenang-wenangnya.
Malaysia secara keseluruhan harus meletakkan tanda noktah terhadap gejala rasuah. Kesenangan ekspress yang dikejar dengan cara yang tidak telus tidak menjamin kesejahteraan bukan hanya terhadap individual malah memberi kesan kepada ke seluruh masyarakat. Hentikan rasuah, kita mampu mengubahnya.

Haziq took the opportunity to explain what&rsquo;s around the market from his mom&rsquo;s vegetables to even the fish sellers. One of the highlights of it would be the fact that Haziq had no embarrassment or even clumsiness during his interviews, but he also added on asking on how&rsquo;s the business there.

Kid From Kedah Steals The Spotlight For His Reporting Skills!

The Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, better known as Lalaport BBCC, is now welcoming everyone to visit its doors since Jan 20 yesterday.
Spanning over 78,500 sqm, this RM1.6-billion-worth Lalaport BBCC located at the former Pudu jail site is the first LaLaport mall in Southeast Asia which was developed by Mitsui Fudosan's 50 percent-owned Malaysian subsidiary MFBBCC Retail Mall Sdn Bhd. The consortium partners own the remaining 50 percent.
Expectation vs. reality?
Previously there was news circulating the online platforms of what to expect from the new mall. According to Soya Cincau news, however, people might have to 'postpone' a bit on their expectation and excitement to witness the grand new LaLaport BBCC shopping mall could offer them based on a visit of its opening day.

Far from ready, the mall has its stores with tons of areas that were still under construction. Some confirmed that even the bathrooms were not fully equipped as the sinks were unable to be used yet.
There were only several available stores that could be counted with hands despite its total of 400 stores should be opened on the same day.
Not Entirely Disappointing
Chin up because, there were stores that open during the opening day yesterday and you definitely have to check it out such as Nojima; a "technology and home appliance specialist store," similar to Courts or Harvey Norman in Japan, Matcha Eight; a premium matcha ice cream shop, and Nitori; &lsquo;IKEA&rsquo; but make it Japanese way that provides various items including space-saving furniture and bedding with cooling technology.

Aside from the stores, LaLaport BBCC offers a large open rooftop space, a staff lounge for mall employees, and a large "Wow Plaza" which is shaped like a giant W.
The plaza is situated near Gourmet Street, an outdoor mall area where Matcha Eight can be found.
So far that is the current update of what people could find in LaLaport BBCC.

Semasa ceramah itu, penceramah telah berkongsi definisi sendiri tentang Wanita Supa di mana beliau menekankan bahawa wanita biasanya memberi tumpuan kepada Kerjaya dan Keluarga. Malah, penceramah telah bertanyakan pendapat pelajar dan jawapan berpecah kerana ada yang ingin mengutamakan kerjaya dan ada yang ingin menumpukan perhatian kepada keluarga.
Penceramah menekankan bahawa kita cenderung melupakan cinta diri.
Namun, untuk menjadi Wanita Supa, seseorang itu mesti menyayangi diri sendiri untuk mencapai matlamat mereka. Satu contoh ialah mandi lama dan juga menjaga rambut kita dengan baik dengan menggunakan Safi Shayla Supa.

Ahh yes, parking. One of the first world problems every Malaysian face when going out since it&rsquo;s pretty much jammed packed everywhere we go now.

Aside from the issue of looking for parking, we also have to agree that the fee for some locations have risen sharply and getting pretty expensive. But with all that aside, this netizen had everyone laughing after how much this woman was charged for parking.
The video was posted on TikTok and currently has 1.4 million views as of writing this showed user <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@mummyjlo2">@mummyjlo2</a> walking up to her car showing the cost of her parking fee. The parking lot is believed to be located in Sentul.

Based off the video, the screen displayed that the total parking fee had cost he RM5,811!

According to the woman, she had only parked her vehicle in the parking lot for only an hour and approached the management office to clarify the issue. But hey guess what, she ended up arguing with them for over an hour on why her parking fee cost that much.
In fact, the signage had clearly stated that the parking fee is RM1 for the first hour and RM1 for every subsequent hour.

The staff on duty during that time thought the woman had left her vehicle at the parking lot for an extended period. They then resorted to looking at the CCTV footage to verify her claim.

After an hour, the woman finally managed to go out and was only required to pay RM3 for her parking fee.
Netizens took to the comments 
Many had questioned where the parking lot was as people wanted to take note and ensure that others are more cautious on incidents like this. Someone even joked that the parking fee was inclusive of the Myvi&rsquo;s overdue loan fees.

Funny enough, when scrolling through the comments, someone had the idea of asking the woman to just drive through the barrier cause of the running joke that Myvi&rsquo;s can do anything.

I guess lessons should be learnt, don&rsquo;t ever park your car at 11:30pm (31/12/2021) and come out at 12:30am (1/12022). Ah yes the infamous &ldquo;You&rsquo;ve been parked for over a year&rdquo; joke.
