Job Description:

In summary the candidate is responsible with our daily Accounts, HR and Admin task. This position assumes the candidate with several responsibilities listed below:

On to the more serious stuff below:
Accounting responsibilities

  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Handle day to day documentation of financial transactions, payment processing and banking by entering account information into the system.
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Summarizes current financial status on a monthly or ad-hoc basis by collecting information: preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

  • Coordinate and compile information for reporting to authorities, auditors and other interested parties.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Perform monthly submission service tax and GST.
  • Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
  • Assist in creating and/or improving accounting procedures by preparing and recommending systems, policies and procedures.

 

HR Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire employment verifications and respond to employment verification inquiries.
  • Conduct applicant pre-screening interviews, assist with recruitment and maintain applicant tracking.
  • Process new employee forms and make changes to employee data in payroll system.
  • Develop necessary documents, handbooks, workflow and processes to organise and smoothen HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations regarding employment and benefits as well as financial, legal and/or administrative requirements.
  • Ensure accurate processing of payroll earnings, deductions, garnishments, etc. and process payroll based on the fixed date every month.
  • Oversee time and attendance systems and coordinate payroll processing accordingly.
  • Assist in performing benefit administration including claims resolution
  • Establish and maintain company records.
  • Plan and organize in-house company-wide initiatives to strengthen employee's motivation

Admin Responsibilities:

  • Ordering and maintaining stationery equipment, groceries.
  • Attending to general alls, enquiry and door guests.
  • Research, obtain and liaise with 3rd party suppliers on required items, production and services.
  • Maintaining the company records, systems and equipment.
  • Oversee the office welfare and recommend improvements.
  • Assist corss-department employee's requirements and attend to any concerns.

Job Requirements:

  • Familiar with accounting software(s) and operations including GST
  • Excellent in written and spoken English (Proficiency in Chinese and BM is a plus)
  • Able to speak clearly and confidently
  • A people-person who is able to converse effectively and handle issues calmly
  • Prior experience in Accounts, HR or Business Admin is a plus
