Port Dickson welcomes its newest MP, Anwar Ibrahim after he had beaten out the other 6 competitors.

Anwar's total votes: 31,016 votes.

So you're probably wondering what were the results for the others eh? Let me tell you:

Closest Rival:

PAS' Mohd. Nazari Mokhtar - 7,456 votes

2nd Runner-up:

Former Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Isa Samad - 4,230 votes

3rd Runner-up:

Stevie Chan Keng Leong - 337 votes

4th Runner-up:

Lau Seck Yan - 214 votes

5th Runner-up:

Kan Chee Yuen - 154 votes

...and of course...

Biggest Loser of the Day:

Anwar’s former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan - 82 votes

(for those of you who don't remember, he was the one who got "touched" by Anwar...)

Since being released from prison, Anwar has made peace with Malaysia's Prime Minister Dr. M - and now he is the MP of Port Dickson...

Go figure :)

Fun Fact: Port Dickson must love Anwar cause his 23,560-vote majority was wayyyyyyyy higher than former Port Dickson MP, Danyal Balagopal Abdullah - despite voter-attendance being 58.3% lower than the last.
