It is highly likely that the victim was alone during the time of the incident. His wife was away at her family home in Pekan for postpartum confinement while his mother of 60 years old who lives with him was out working.

So far, police has canceled out the case for murder motivated by revenge or anger. The case is currently being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Hopefully the investigations will lead the police to important clues to this mysterious death. Murder or not, there should be answers and justice for the victim. My deepest condolences to the victim's family for their loss.
