Thanks to Covid-19, we haven’t been able to get the joy of going to the cinemas anymore and watching the latest movies. Remember how everyone always waits to watch the next Marvel movie as all 24 of them related to one another as well? Yeah… those were the days.
And now, we have more bad news as the highly anticipated “Black Widow” movie will be postponed… AGAIN!
Everyone fell head over heels for Scarlet Johansson during the series as she was one of the most badass women in the films.
Unfortunately, fans will have to keep waiting as the stand-alone Black Widow movie was postponed once again to 7 May 2021.
With the current state of the pandemic, it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to catch her on the big screens anytime soon… (Unless you have a home theater at home then yo, jangan lupa ajak)
Like have you seen the trailer to the movie? If you haven’t, check it out below:
According to Comic Book, the film is expected to be delayed once again based on recent reports.
As America is still struggling to bring Covid-19 cases down and news spread about Donald Trump not handing over any Covid-19 distribution plans to Joe Biden, it will be a struggle to get people to fill up the cinema halls.
There is also a chance of the movie getting postponed for a 3rd time if no action is taken.
Do you think that Black Widow will be premiered on a streaming platform similarly to the latest Wonder Woman 1984 movie? Yeah, it likely will as Disney has their own service called Disney+.
"A year delay, you hope would be enough, there's a vaccine out there now. We'll see. I certainly hope so. I want to be back in the theater with people,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Comic Book.
Disney+ is not available in Malaysia yet (It’s still on the way), we just have to hope for the number of cases to decrease so theatres can reopen.
In the meantime, maybe it’s a good time to binge watch all the 24 movies in sequence again? That’s one way to stay home! Remember to stay safe everyone #KitaJagaKita
