Motorcyclist Caught Robbing Woman Who Was Alone In Carpark

It’s a dangerous world out there especially for women. There has been a video circulating social media as a woman was robbed by a man on a motorcycle in Eco Sanctuary, Telok Panglima Garang.

The video was posted on Info Jenayah, Kemalangan dan Bencana (IJKB) which showed the woman with a backpack closing her car boot before locking it.

The motorcyclist can be seen passing the woman as she crossed the road and at the edge of the camera, you can see the motorcyclist making a U-turn and had came closer to the woman.  The woman tried to gave way but later realized the intention of the motorcyclist.

 

In the video, you could hear her screaming and shouting “I don’t have anything” in Bahasa Melayu as she was chased around her car. She then trips and falls down which led to the suspect getting off his bike and snatching her handbag.

After the incident, the police were informed of it and an arrest was made at 4pm yesterday according to Chief Superintendent Azizan Tikiman of the Kuala Lamgat District Police. The suspect is a 26-year-old local who was found in Kampung Sinjangkang.

The suspect was a solo rider and also had a machete with him.

 

"The victim who suffered swelling of the head, bruises on the right arm and knee and pain in the upper right thigh was taken to hospital for further examination and treatment.

The case will be investigated under Section 392/397 of the Penal Code.
