As the date for MCO gets closer, Malaysians are unnecessarily panic buying and being paranoid (This ain’t our first mco, why la act like never been through it before?).
Hopefully this news will calm anxious Malaysians as Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail announced the ability to return back to hometowns for those who wish to do so despite the interstate travel ban.
During yesterday’s press conference (12 January), he said that the government has granted permission for those who plan to return back to their hometowns during MCO despite the travel ban being implemented starting today (13 January). Individuals who have already purchased flight tickers and bus tickets are given time until this coming Friday (15 January).
The police have been updated on this new update.
