If America could have the FIRST "Black" president, then it shouldn't be any problem with Malaysia having the FIRST FEMALE prime minister...
With that, all eyes are now looking at vice-PM Wan Azizah to be taking on the hot role after Mahathir's repeated resignation today.
Based on power and current role, there were only 2 people who could be selected for the PM seat - seeing as the allegation of forming a backdoor government with opposition parties is a No-Go.
Before his exit, Mahathir made an announcement that he had selected Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to now be the interim prime minister until further notice.
Is this the change that Malaysia has been looking for all this while?
A former school principal to lead the country towards the intended Visi 2020?
Guess this would be good for the education system eh?
Nothing is set in stone just yet, but as for right now, we do hope that Wan Azizah is the right choice that could help Malaysia regain a sense of pride -- instead of all the bad press that we've been receiving since the infamous 1MDB case.
If Wan Azizah doesn't get Officially Elected, maybe YOU could be the next PM...
Since Job Malaysia is looking...you might wanna sign up?
