Take note of this, cause it could save you a lot of money.
Not everything you received on WhatsApp is needed to be shared, especially if it isn't something that's nice...like a photo of a dead maid.
Former Singapore Airlines pilot, Fazli Hisham Mohd Fairuz Shah, was slapped with an expensive punishment (of RM9,095) for sharing unlawful photos in a WhatsApp group, including one of a dead maid, with a message “Maid hung herself on the fan”.
Btw, these are images that he had received from his girlfriend, a paramedic.
How he was caught was cause there was a "mole" in the WhatsApp group, who shared it with 3 maids...
...and in the age of social media and technology, that shit went up on Facebook.
The court found Fazli guilty of two offences under the Official Secrets Act (OSA)...and his girlfriend, Nurizzah Afiqah Hussain, was also charged and fined the exact same.
See...this is what happens when you disrespect the dead la...
Of course, many would think this as a harmless act, and maybe when he shared it... he had no intension of offending anyone.
However, we must get this message out there that not everything you receive must be shared.
Do wise up and learn from the simplest mistakes of others.
It only takes a few seconds to make a mistake, but MONTHS to pay up for it.
