Founder of Limkokwing University Dies at the Age of 75

Lim Kok Wing had suffered a fall and passed away a week after being hospitalised.

Tan Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing, who was best known as the founder of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, has passed away at the age of 75.

An aide to Lim confirmed this today but declined to provide further details.

Although the cause of death was still unknown, it was reported that Lim had suffered a fall at his house last week and received treatments at Pantai Hospital Bangsar.

Official statements from his family and the university are expected soon.

During his lifetime, Lim had dabbled in many different careers before establishing his university, starting as an illustrator before moving into advertising and making his name in the industry in the 1970s.
